Une lazee Sunday

It's still pouring here, but I'm enjoying the quiet peacefulness of a drizzly day. To celebrate father's day, my dad and I kicked back and watched a Vincente Minnelli marathon-- An American in Paris followed by Gigi. Bliss! I adore all the colors and musical sequences in each film. Inspired, I made this little collage in Polyvore:

If only these divine clothes were a little more affordable! Perhaps if I search diligently, I can find some suitable vintage equivalents. Le sigh.

  1. Aw, time with Dadoo! Love it. I don't think I could get my dad to sit through a musical with me. We should have a musical marathon this summer! :)

  2. I actually have a pair of earrings somewhere like the ones in your blog...they're black pearls (probably not real, since I've had them forever) and they are the most incredible accessory I have ever owned. Now if only I could find them...

  3. I love your collage. But I'm sure you can find something similar that's actually in your price range. Vintage is definitely the way to go. Plus then you get to do a good deed and recycle as well ;)
